Dr. Rutherford was born and raised in Waxahachie, Texas. After graduating from Waxahachie High School, Dr. Rutherford received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in College Station. In 2000, she graduated on the Dean's Honor List from Baylor College of Dentistry. Following a general practice residency at the VA Hospital in Dallas, Dr. Rutherford opened her practice in Waxahachie to care for patients of all ages.

Dr. Rutherford loves being a Waxahachie dentist and feels blessed to have a job she looks forward to every morning. She is proud to be in Waxahachie serving the community she will always call home. Dr. Rutherford is married to Stephen. Together they love to travel and have fun doing all kinds of outdoor activities. She is an avid reader and is devoted to walks with Ginger, her golden retriever.

Ashley is one of two dental hygienists at Dr. Rutherford's office. She completed her hygiene education at the University of Nebraska. In 2006, Ashley and her husband Jeremy moved to Waxahachie. They love the community and its hometown feel. She is very active and enjoys all sports, especially running.

Jessica, the office's second hygienist, grew up in Ovilla. As a recent graduate from dental hygiene school in San Antonio, she is now making her home in Waxahachie. In her free time, Jessica loves being with family and friends. She is involved with church, has a dog named Lolla, and of course loves shopping!

Heather is a hometown girl from Waxahachie. She has been with the office from the beginning as Dr. Rutherford's chairside assistant. Heather is married to Judd, and they have a maltese named Jack. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, shopping, and traveling.

Nicki has worked for Dr. Rutherford for 5 years as a business assistant. She has watched the office grow tremendously during this time. Nicki is married and lives in Maypearl. She has one son and four grandchildren. Her daughter passed away of cancer in April 2001. Nicki loves the outdoors, animals, and spending time with her grandkids.

Connie has been a business assistant at Dr. Rutherford's office for 3 years. She schedules appointments, confirms insurance, and is usually the cheery voice that will answer your call. Connie grew up in Maypearl but now lives in Waxahachie. Her spare time is filled with playing softball and watching movies.
